The terms that apply when you book or take a course with us.

1. About us
These terms apply when you book a training course or use the website operated by R&P HGV Training, trading as R&P Driver Training, based in Hull, East Yorkshire. By booking a course or using the site you accept these terms.
2. Booking a course
A booking is only confirmed once we have acknowledged it in writing (email is fine). We may decline a booking if the course is full, if you do not meet the eligibility requirements, or for any other reasonable reason.
You must hold a valid driving licence and any required vocational entitlement before you can attend practical training. Where a medical (D4) is required, you are responsible for completing one before training begins.
3. Fees and payment
Course prices are listed on the website at the time of booking. Unless stated otherwise, all prices are inclusive of test fees and VAT where applicable. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card and finance options where eligible.
4. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
You may cancel or reschedule your course by giving us at least 14 days' notice before the start date. With 14 days' notice or more, we will offer a full refund or no-cost reschedule.
For cancellations between 14 days and 48 hours before the start date, an administration fee may apply.
For cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, or non-attendance ("no-show"), the full course fee may be charged. Test fees already paid to the DVSA are non-refundable.
If we cancel a course (for example due to instructor illness, vehicle issues or DVSA test changes), we will reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund — your choice.
5. Promo codes and offers
Promo codes are valid for the period stated, are not transferable, cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so explicitly, and have no cash value. We reserve the right to withdraw any offer or code at any time.
6. Conduct on training
For safety reasons, we may end a training session early — without refund — if a student is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves abusively, fails to follow instructor directions, or otherwise compromises safety.
7. Test results
We can't guarantee a pass — the DVSA examiner makes the final decision. Our pass-rate quotes are historic and not a promise. If you don't pass, we'll be happy to discuss further training and additional test attempts at the prevailing rate.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability under or in connection with these terms is limited to the price you paid for the course.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish or reuse it without our written permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
